The League of United Latin American Citizens is an organization that was created to earn respect of the entire Latino Community. It started in Texas in 1929, but has since spread to many other states and countries. The driving force is to earn respect and be respected. Discrimination is valuable and necessary for self preservation but does not have to apply to fellow human Beings.
